Not sure where to leave your parrot or exotic animal for a weekend getaway or that overseas trip? Are you feeling overhwlemed at the thought of medicating your pet daily, scared to lose your bond as a result? Why not try our very personal pet boarding at our facility in Durbanville. We send updates to owners daily via whatsapp. Our caretaker is trained in administering medication and syringe feeding parrots and various exotic species. We do not do long term stays but feel free to give us a shout and lets see how we can accomodate you before looking elsewhere. - Short duration pet boarding for exotic animals: rats, chinchillas, rabbits, reptiles (limited to certain species), parrots. - boarding is subject to available dates and capacity. Jacobiez does not take on too many animals at a time in order to make sure each animal gets the care they deserve. - Usual food / nutrition to be supplied. Fresh vegetables to be supplied for initial few days, thereafter vegetables will be provided. - Priced per number of animals boarding per day - Prices starting at R90 per day per animal depending on the animal and requirements. - Special needs animals requiring medicating or syringe feeding daily will be charged extra per day. The daily requirements and duration of stay will determine price per day. This will be discussed via whatsapp. The caretaker in charge of your animal was trained as an exotic veterinary nurse and has worked with them for over 5 years. She has a very good working relationship with the local exotic veterinarians and you can therefore feel safe knowing that if anything unexpected happens your pets will be in good hands.
